Its a good day.....

Today is a good day. I woke up and got dressed. Loaded the car up with a bag of clothes, my laptop and my pillow. Dropped Haylee off at school. Then headed South. South to the (not so) Great State of Florida. Five hours later I find myself sitting in my parents home, watching my daddy sleep. It's a good day.

Today is a good day. My soldier called me from the other side of the world and told me he loved me. He told me he missed me too. Told me he couldn't wait to come home and hold me. It's a good day.

Today is a good day. My 91 year old grandpa is healthy and happy. My mom is happy for once in her life with a great man by her side. There are smiles a plenty at her home now. It's a good day.

Today is a good day. Everyone I Love is alive. Everyone I love, loves me back. It's a good day!!!

Thank you Lord for such a good day....I've needed a day like this for weeks, and I see you noticed that too.

Now, if you could only send my soldier home and heal my daddy.....That would be a miraculously WONDERFUL day! But I'm not gonna push my luck....Just sayin..... (=
