Well, as I write this, I am planning our yearly camping trip. This year we will be camping with the girl scouts out at Fort McAllister in Richmond Hill Georgia. We've camped there before and really enjoy it! There are canoes to rent, trails to take, smores to cook!!!
Me being a history buff, LOVES camping in these historic places! Oh, a little about Fort McAllister (The Second Battle of Fort McAllister took place December 13, 1864, during the final stages of Maj. Gen. William T. Sherman's March to the Sea during the American Civil War. Union forces overwhelmed a small Confederate force defending the strategically important Fort McAllister near Savannah, Georgia, a major Federal objective.) 
Anyways, we have planned out some yummy dishes, like wiener on a stick, campfire pizzas, omelet in a bag and smores! I can't wait, this trip we get to have Rick tag along with us and save us from crappy campfires and I'll have someone warm to snuggle up to this time!
